I don’t wanna do it. Don’t wanna live with it after.
#for all their intents to sell us this concept of an open ending the more i think about it the less i see it as such#to me it’s perfectly clear what the real ending was and it’s not the one that ended in the kind of tragedy they wanted to hint at#i cant even entertain the idea that silver would have the guts to pull that trigger on flint#1) he couldn’t kill billy who was his closest friend next to flint and billy LITERALLY threatened to kill madi and flint#2) he couldn’t even kill a random helpless redcoat when told.. risking being on the recieving end of hands’ wrath in the process#3) after everything he’d been through with flint.. after everything he’d learned of flint.. i cannot for the life of me believe#that silver would be so heartless as to do something like that. it just doesn’t add up with his character or their relationship development#flint didn’t deserve to end like that and i simply don’t understand how people knowing what they know of him could even consider#that his death would make more sense than the kind of ending we were shown#FUCK. THAT. this is not that kind of story#i know the writers tried to seem extra mysterious… throwing in all this ambiguity#but like#literally everything points to the obvious and that is the ending we were shown#all these parallels are there for a reason and that is to discredit that ambiguity#they’ve been giving us answers to this ending since the beginning of season TWO#they used a cheap and loud trick to ‘fool’ us but before that they made sure the ending had a solid ground#one just had to go back and find the clues (@captain-flint)
