Hi everyone! I’m writing this post and spreading the word on behalf of a very dear friend of mine, @saferincages and her doggie. This is Angel, she is a registered emotional support service dog and loved family member. Recently she was diagnosed with lung cancer, a rare occurrence in dogs and unfortunately Angel is now dealing with it.
Angel helps her mommy, Jessica, with her day to day things. Since Jessica suffers from several chronic illnesses she is housebound and is often unable to do the basic things that we take for granted each day. Angel helps provide emotional support and also helps Jessica focus when she is dealing with her severe panic attacks, her POTS, and CFS. Without having Angel around Jessica has an even harder time with things and her symptoms are worse.

Sadly, Jessica and her mother have been dealing with a myriad of health issues that severely impacts their financial status mainly due to them not being able to work and afford medical care. Since Jessica was denied disability benefits last year money is in urgent need. Angel’s prognosis right now is positive and we would love to keep it that way, but we need your help. As all us pet parents know having a sick or injured pet is expensive, this is no different. We’re hoping to raise enough money to get Angel the treatment and surgery she needs to help beat cancer and live many more years with her mommy.
While we realize that times are hard and there’s so much going on in the world that it can be severely overwhelming, we ask that if you’re able to spare a few dollars it would mean the world to us. If you cannot, which we understand, we ask that you reblog this post and maybe share the youcaring link to other social media platforms to raise awareness.
Angel is a special doggie, as are all dogs. Please help her fight this illness and get better soon.

Bonnie has been so generous in helping me set this page up for my sweet girl. As anyone who follows me and has been reading my updates lately knows, this has been a really tough time for my family and myself, with the discovery of Angel’s lung mass being so unexpected, my mom’s and my own health being quite poorly lately in addition to the other difficulties of our situation, and then my dad’s house burning down on the day Angel had her CT, it’s all been a lot to try and handle. She is such a pure joy in my life, and has helped me through every darkest moment, even on the days when I didn’t know if I could get up or endure, she never gave up on me. We’ll be with her as much as we can during the process of her surgery, and through every step of recovery. I love her with all my heart, and this fighting chance is the best hope we can give her.
(The little panda “donate” button in my sidebar also goes to her Youcaring page. ♥)
Thank you so much to all my exquisite friends who have reached out to me in caring and concern lately, and anyone just sharing this is invaluable. Your strength and thoughts truly do help, and Angel and I are returning that love in the universe in any way we can.
